Licensed interpretation helps guests understand sacred places respectfully instead of treating them as decorative attractions. Weather, transport disruption, local closures, trail conditions or participant wellbeing may require changes while preserving the program’s main value. Any material cost or service change will be communicated as early as practical.

Safety, Insurance and Emergency Information

Comprehensive travel insurance should cover medical treatment, emergency transport, trip interruption, baggage and all planned activities.

Barunche maintains local contact and transport coordination. In a serious incident, staff arrange the most appropriate available care or evacuation; all medical and evacuation costs remain the traveler’s responsibility unless an insurer accepts them.

Best Season, Weather and Temperature

October–November and March–April usually offer comfortable conditions and stronger mountain visibility. Winter is cooler but workable; monsoon travel requires flexible outdoor plans.

Kathmandu and Pokhara range from cool winter mornings to warm spring and autumn afternoons. Monsoon months are humid, wet and cloudier. Pack layers and rain protection. Electricity, Charging and Wi‑Fi Kathmandu and Pokhara hotels generally provide reliable electricity and Wi‑Fi, although short interruptions can occur. Carry a power bank and a universal adapter.
