What Makes This Trip Different?

Authentic Culture and Local Experience The retreat connects practice with Pokhara’s lake, hills and cultural environment instead of isolating guests inside a generic wellness property. Nature, Practice and Responsible Travel Five days allow a progressive practice rhythm plus a genuine recovery period, with outdoor plans adapted honestly to weather.

Accommodation Details

Four nights in an inspected property with a suitable practice hall, private bathroom and reliable service. Confirm exact location, room category, mountain or lake-view claims, accessibility and wet-weather space.

Transportation Details

Private transfers are included for confirmed arrival, departure, viewpoint and listed activities. Road and weather conditions may require reordering or replacement.

Connectivity and Trail Facilities

Mobile coverage is generally available in Kathmandu and Pokhara, but indoor signal and internet speed vary. The retreat should not depend on continuous connection.

Booking and Cancellation Information

A place is confirmed only after Barunche Treks & Expeditions issues a written proposal, receives the required deposit and confirms the operating partners. The final invoice must clearly state room type, meal plan, transfers, included sessions, supplements and balance deadline.

The signed booking terms govern cancellation, amendment, refunds and force majeure. Weather, transport disruption, local closures, trail conditions or participant wellbeing may require changes while preserving the program’s main value. Any material cost or service change will be communicated as early as practical.

Safety, Insurance and Emergency Information

Comprehensive travel insurance should cover medical treatment, emergency transport, trip interruption, baggage and all planned activities.

Barunche and the venue maintain emergency contacts and access to appropriate local care. In a serious incident, staff coordinate the safest available transport; costs remain the traveler’s responsibility unless insured.

Permits and Entry Requirements

No trekking permit is normally required. Heritage, museum or attraction entrance fees are included only when specifically listed in the booking confirmation.

Meals and Drinking Water

Daily breakfast and dinner plus selected lunches are included as stated. Vegetarian meals support practice without detox claims. Vegan and allergy requests need advance confirmation; refill water is prioritized.

Best Season, Weather and Temperature

October–November and March–April usually provide comfortable outdoor conditions. Winter is cooler but workable with warm layers; monsoon retreats require flexible outdoor plans and strong indoor practice facilities.

Expect cool winter mornings, warm spring and autumn afternoons, and humid rain during monsoon. Mountain visibility and sunrise conditions are never guaranteed. Electricity, Charging and Wi‑Fi City retreat properties generally provide electricity, charging and Wi‑Fi, although interruptions can occur. Carry a universal adapter and power bank.
