A clear notice for website cookies, analytics and advertising technologies.
1 What Cookies Are
Cookies are small files or identifiers stored on or read from a user’s device. Similar technologies include pixels, tags, local storage and software development kits. They can make a website work, remember settings, measure use and support advertising.
2 Cookie Categories
Category — Purpose — Default treatment
Strictly necessary — Security, form submission, session management, load balancing and consent records. — Active where necessary for the website.
Preferences — Language, region, display and saved choices. — Ask for consent where required.
Analytics — Understand visits, navigation,
performance and errors. — Do not activate before consent where required.
Advertising — Measure campaigns, limit repetition and support tailored advertising. — Do not activate before consent where required.
3 Cookie Banner Requirements
- Display Accept All, Reject Non-Essential and Manage Preferences with comparable prominence.
- Do not pre-select non-essential categories.
- Record consent and make it as easy to withdraw as to give.
- Link the banner to this policy and list the actual cookies used, their provider, purpose and duration.
4 Managing Cookies
Users can change website cookie preferences through the consent control and can also block or delete cookies in browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent booking forms, security features or other functions from working.
5 Actual Cookie Inventory Required
Current pre-launch website audit — The website currently loads Google reCAPTCHA for spam and abuse protection and Burst Statistics for website analytics. Google states that reCAPTCHA sets the necessary _GRECAPTCHA cookie when executed. Burst may operate cookielessly or may use additional storage depending on its WordPress configuration and consent settings; the developer must confirm the active configuration before publication. No live card-payment gateway was detected during this audit.
Final launch requirement — Because the website is currently displaying a coming-soon page and its tools may change, the developer must run a final scanner and browser-storage audit immediately before launch. The published inventory must state every cookie or similar tracker’s name, provider, purpose, category and duration. Repeat the audit whenever analytics, advertising, chat, maps, video, payment or booking tools change. Do not publish invented cookie names.
